Window Breaker & Belt Cutter
Spring-loaded. Mounts by your seat, so it's always within reach.
Designed for tempered side and rear windows. It will not break laminated glass, such as the windshield.
Modern cars protect you in a crash. Getting out afterwards is another story.
After an impact, the things you rely on to leave the car may not work the way they normally do.
Power windows may stop working
Water, fire or a damaged electrical system can leave the window switch dead. You can't roll down what won't move.
Doors can jam
A bent frame or water pressure outside the car can make a door very hard to open, even when it's unlocked.
Seatbelts can lock in place
The same mechanism that holds you in a crash can stay locked under your weight, especially if the car is on its side.
Two exits in one tool, mounted where your hand can find it.
Spring-loaded window breaker
Press the tip against the glass and the internal spring does the work. No room to swing needed.
Built-in seatbelt cutter
Pull off the strap cap, hook the belt edge into the slot and push forward.
Fixed mount, fixed spot
Stick the base by the dash or center console so you always know where it is.
Nothing to charge
Knurled metal grip. No batteries, so it's ready when you need it.

Press a window corner
Pull off the tip cap and press firmly on a lower corner of a side window. The spring fires and the glass shatters.
Important: Use on tempered side or rear windows only. Windshields and some side windows are laminated and won't shatter. Check for “laminated” on the small label in the corner of each window.

No escape tool breaks laminated glass quickly. Know which of your windows are tempered before you need to.
What drivers say
Which windows can it break?
Tempered glass, which is used for most side and rear windows. It won't break laminated glass. Every windshield and some side windows are laminated. Look for “laminated” or “tempered” on the small label in the corner of each window.
How is it different from a regular safety hammer?
A traditional hammer needs room to swing and force behind it. The spring-loaded tip only needs firm pressure, so it's easier to use in a tight space or at an awkward angle.
Does it work underwater?
It doesn't rely on a swing, so it's easier to use when water slows your movement. In a sinking car, act early: cut your belt and open a side window before water pressure builds.
Where should I mount it?
Somewhere the driver can reach while belted in: beside the center console, on the lower dash, or by the gear selector. Avoid airbag zones and keep it clear of the driver's view.
Can I just use the headrest instead?
Some headrests can be pulled out and used on glass, but it often takes strength, a good angle and time, and many aren't designed to come out easily.
Does it need batteries?
No. It's fully mechanical.
Is it safe around children?
The seatbelt cutter is recessed under the strap cap, and the breaker tip needs firm pressure to release. Treat it like any tool and keep it mounted, not loose in the back seat.
